More roundness and flesh than Côte-Rôtie, with a texture of fatty and melting tannins, the solar side of the Hermitage hillside is perfectly highlighted here.

The 2015 Lacoste-Borie is a pretty, juicy wine with good balance and enough depth to drink well for another few years at least, while the red cherry and plum fruit remains vibrant. This is an attractive second wine from Grand-Puy-Lacoste.

What a fantastic aromatic wine. Cote Rotie made in a Burgundian style. Great at 5. Will be incredible at 10 years old and beyond.

Excellent sour raspberry with a dusty little finish that is unmistakable burgundy. Bright red fruit on the nose and glowing ruby color.

Château La Tour de Mons is a classic wine, elegant and pure and fully respectful of this great terroir of Margaux. Nice nose well defined. The wine is elegant, of good length, charming. It will evolve well as usual.
