Deep garnet-purple in color and made from 100% Merlot, the Latour à Pomerol J.P. Moueix 2017, leaps from the glass with expressive aromas of cooked plums, warm black cherries, and boysenberries, with hints of dead leaves, bouquet garni, and fertile soil. Medium-bodied, the palate offers muscular black fruits wrapped in a velvety texture with a firm backbone of rounded tannins and a long mineral finish.
Aging potential: Already enjoyable, it will reach its optimal maturity between 2025 and 2035+ depending on storage conditions.
